SERVICE DOG TRAINING

Service dogs are dogs that are trained to perform specific tasks in order to assist someone with their medical (physical and/or psychological) disability. These dogs are trained to the highest standard and meet public access behavior requirements.  They are granted public access under the ADA to places including but not limited to restaurants, stores, malls, hospitals, airplanes, and hotels. Where pets, therapy dogs and other animals including emotional support animals are not allowed. These dogs are considered medical equipment, and serve to increase independence and overall quality of life for his/her handler. Our service dog program is tailored to help with a wide variety of disabilities including POTS, EDS, narcolepsy, PTSD, autism, physical mobility limitations, anxiety disorders, food allergys, and more. Whether you have a new service dog prospect in need of training, an already trained service dog looking for tune up, working through a new task, or you’re in the beginning stages and need guidance to find a service dog prospect, we are happy and equipped to assist! In order to maintain the highest standard and ensure proper service dog criteria is achieved, we will require documentation of the disability before starting the journey of service dog training.
